Tagli al sostegno nelle scuole

APPELLO: NON TAGLIATE IL FUTURO DEI NOSTRI FIGLI E DEI NOSTRI ALUNNI

Come genitori e come docenti, stiamo apprendendo con estrema preoccupazione i dati sulle assegnazioni del personale di sostegno per il prossimo anno scolastico 2011-2012.

            Sono tagli pesantissimi, fatti sulla pelle dei nostri figli e dei nostri alunni.

            Non possiamo accettare che l’unico metro di riferimento stia diventando “il contenimento della spesa”.

            Non possiamo accettare che si misuri la vita dei nostri figli sulla base del rapporto 1: 2,15, come indicato nella circolare invita alla scuole dall’Ufficio Scolastico Regionale.

            Non possiamo accettare che questi rapporti numerici nascondano, dietro le loro medie, l’abbandono.

            Non possiamo accettare che l’ente locale non abbia più risorse per “attenuare” questi tagli, mettendo a disposizione personale socio-educativo.

            Non possiamo accettare che le scuole siano costrette a fare scelte di priorità, dovendo individuare a chi togliere quanto a lui necessario, non superfluo.

            Vogliamo che chi si prende l’onere di decidere questi tagli (Ministero, Comune, Dirigenti), si prenda anche la responsabilità di offrire soluzioni alle scuole, alle famiglie, non che scarichi il problema su di noi.

            La vita dei nostri figli e dei nostri alunni è unica. Solo per pochi anni potranno usufruire dell’opportunità educativa offerta dalla scuola pubblica, e devono poterne usufruire pienamente.

            Non vogliamo dover mendicare attenzione dalle istituzioni preposte.

Non vogliamo ascoltare risposte che indicano che altre scuole, altri bambini sono messi peggio dei nostri.

            Vogliamo, come cittadini, poter godere dei nostri diritti, pienamente.

            Perché la tutela dei più deboli, è la tutela di tutti.
