Il fatto è che da quando pigliò ‘l ticchio
di gire all’inverso ad ogne crocicchio,
per mettere sul concetto l’accento

pur quando piscia, piscia controvento.
La compagnia del General, lo spicchio
di senno gli ha ridotto un cavicchio;
ma serve pietà, cesso ogne commento.

Certo, siamo un paese di cavilli
ch’ama le pance indietro e i petti in fuori;
ma puot’essere mai un posto normale

laddove un tal pirla fa ‘l generale?
Se tanto mi dà tanto, i superiori
saranno un battaglione di imbecilli!
