L'obolo


I’ non so voi, ma da molt’anni addietro
per svariate cagion, che qui non tocco,
a dar l’otto per mille non abbocco;
ho già abbastanza danni nel didietro.

Certo, affidar l’obolo di San Pietro
ad un che, all’occasione, è sì pitocco
che ‘l baston porterebbe via a San Rocco,
è roba da coglioni in cartavetro.

Ma data l’abilità millenaria
nell’arraffar ciò che vien sottomano
con la scusa di far la carità

anche questa, col tempo, passerà;
e si continuerà a ammucchiare ‘l grano
chè ‘l povero è già aduso a campar d’aria.
