Quattro papi

Non ci facciamo mai mancare niente.
Non paghi delle secolar pretese
delle sottane nere, che le spese
addebitano al popolo indigente

(non senza aver pria indotto penitente
l’illegittimo abuso dell’arnese),
ora gareggian con le larghe intese
e quattro papi simultaneamente

nel medesmo mazzo ci si presenta!
Se è lecito scherzare in fanteria
mentre sarebbe ben lasciare i Santi,

tornano a mente le cene eleganti
dell’altro “papi”, e la sua batteria
di fedeli plaudenti al “mi consenta!”.
